SGX currently lists seven industrial REITs, which have a combined market capitalisation of $14.4 billion and makes up close to 14% of the total market capitalisation of the primary-listed industrial REITs across the globe. According to data released by SGX, industrial REITs have an average year-to-date return of 11.5%. Mapletree Industrial Trust has the highest return year-to-date at 20.4%, followed by Mapletree Logistics Trust with a YTD return of 19.1%. Ascendas REIT, the biggest industrial REIT by market capitalisation, has a YTD return of 12.9%, at par with Cache Logistics Trust.
