A stretch of Upper Serangoon Road will be closed to traffic early Sat morning, said HDB on Mon. The closure is to facilitate the launching of concrete beam for the construction of a pedestrian overhead bridge. The 300m stretch of road between Upper Serangoon Crescent and Buangkok Drive will be closed to traffic in both directions between 1am and 5am on that day. HDB advised motorists travelling between Sengkang East Drive and Upper Serangoon Road in both directions to use Buangkok Drive and Hougang Avenues 8 and 10 instead.
